I just installed my RTX 5070 Founders Edition, and I've noticed that while playing games, the graphics card starts blowing out a lot of warm air and eventually crashes the game. Initially, my motherboard also had trouble detecting the card when I booted it up. Is my graphics card defective, or could there be another issue?

Sounds like you've got some troubleshooting to do! Even if you haven’t checked the temps yet, the smell of something burning is a red flag, for sure. Make sure you keep an eye on the temperatures when you load up a game. It might just be a driver issue, or something could be loose.
Just because your GPU fans are working and the game crashes doesn’t automatically mean it’s overheating. You should check the temperatures during gameplay. NVIDIA has had some recent issues with their drivers, so rolling back to an earlier version might help too.
