Hey everyone, I've got a PC set up with an i3 10105f, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, an RX Vega 56 GPU, and a 650W bronze PSU. I'm experiencing some serious FPS drops in games like PUBG and Valorant, and even in Minecraft, my frame rates aren't great. For example, PUBG starts at around 120 FPS but drops down to between 60 and 70, and Valorant goes down to 90 FPS. The performance feels really unstable, and I've noticed a lot of other users with the same GPU seem to have similar issues. I've tried several different solutions but nothing's worked. Any insights on what's going wrong?

I hear you! My buddy has the same setup but with an i5 10400f, and he's getting way better FPS than me. I'm not sure what's happening on my end.
Keep in mind, the Vega 56 is getting pretty old—it’s been around for about 8 years now. Pairing it with an i3 from 4 generations back isn’t ideal, which might explain the inconsistent performance. Your hardware might just be maxing out their potential. Did you expect higher performance from this setup?
Honestly, it's pretty impressive you're getting over 60 FPS at all. Have you thought about checking your CPU and GPU temperatures? High temps can definitely cause performance issues. If your readings are over 90°C, that’s likely your problem. A quick fix is to open up your case for better airflow, and if that doesn't help, you might need to improve cooling somehow.
