Why is my Ryzen 7 5700X3D stuck at 3.2GHz?

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 5600 to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D along with a new cooler (Aqua Elite 240 V3). The installation was done by Scorptec, and I just picked it up two days ago. However, I've noticed that the CPU is not boosting beyond 3.2GHz. Is there anyone who can provide some help with this issue? Thanks! Just to give you some context, my other PC components include a 3060 Ti 8GB, 2x8GB RAM at 3200, and an Asus B550-A WiFi II motherboard. They performed a BIOS update as well.

It's actually pretty normal for CPUs to not fully boost during heavy stress tests that utilize all cores, like Cinebench. In gaming, you should see your CPU boost more effectively, provided the temps are good. Keep in mind that 3.2GHz is a bit below the base clock of the R7 5700X, which is 3.4GHz. You could try enabling Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) in the BIOS to get more aggressive boosting, though it does come with more heat. Also, resetting the BIOS to optimal defaults and ensuring your drivers are up to date could help.

You might want to check your BIOS settings since they handled the installation. If everything's performing well and the temps are okay, then GHz may not be your biggest concern. But if you're experiencing FPS drops, there's definitely something to sort out.
