Why is my second monitor showing ‘DisplayPort no signal’ even though Windows detects it?

I'm facing an issue with my second monitor, an ASUS VG248. Windows recognizes that it's connected to the GPU, but I keep getting a 'DisplayPort no signal' message. I can see it in the display settings, but it's not active, and I can't change the resolution. I've had this problem before but can't remember how I fixed it last time. Any suggestions?

I had a similar issue, and after trying several cables, I found one that worked perfectly. If you've already tested a second DisplayPort cable, make sure your connection to the GPU is secure. Also, double-check if the monitor is set to the right input source. Sometimes, it can help to cycle through the input options using the monitor's menu.
