Why is My SSD Constantly at 100% Active Time?

I've been experiencing severe slowdowns on my PC lately. After checking the task manager, I noticed that my SSD consistently shows 100% active time, while my other drives (D: and C:) are barely using any resources. I've already tried various fixes like SFC scans, malware scans, resetting Windows, and even defragmenting, but nothing seems to help. Is there a setting causing one drive to take on all the work? Do I need to do a complete Windows reinstall? Interestingly, at startup, another drive hits 100% usage for a couple of minutes before it shifts to my J: drive. Any advice would be appreciated since I can barely use my PC for anything other than web browsing!

First off, make sure you're not defragmenting your SSD anymore—that can actually shorten its lifespan. Check your task manager and sort by disk usage by clicking the 'disk' column to see what’s eating up your resources; it might be some background process. If you spot anything unusual, share some screenshots! It could be a sign of malware or some other issue working behind the scenes.

Here are some screenshots of my task manager: https://imgur.com/a/7ulINBD. The highest usage is only about 0.1%, and both Malwarebytes and Windows Defender haven't flagged anything.

Here's another look: https://imgur.com/a/7hdB4Wt. It seems like my D: and J: drives are swapping their usage somehow.
