Why Is My TV and PC Screen Flickering at Night?

I'm dealing with a weird issue where both my plasma TV and PC screen start flickering at night, but everything seems fine during the day. I live in a relatively remote area with decent internet speeds, so it's frustrating. I've tried unplugging the Ethernet cable from my PC, and that stops the flickering, which makes me think it's related to the internet setup somehow. I even bought a new Ethernet cable, but that didn't change anything. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Since it only happens at night, consider if there’s a neighbor or someone nearby that might be using devices that interfere with your WiFi signal. Have you tried switching to a different channel on your router? Sometimes, reducing interference can help stabilize your connection.

Sounds like a potential bandwidth issue. If something is using a lot of upload speed on your network, it could interfere with streaming on your TV. You might want to check your router’s dashboard for any active devices and see what's consuming bandwidth, even if it seems like nothing's happening on your PC.

I checked and my PC is completely off, but the flickering still happens. So, I'm wondering if it could be something else.

When you mention flickering, do you mean the screen is going black or showing weird colors? That might suggest there's an issue with the power supply to your devices. Sometimes, a power surge can cause this, especially if it affects the Ethernet as well. It could also be electrical interference, so check if anything else in your home is causing fluctuations.
