My TV has been randomly turning on and off for about five hours. It's an Insignia model with DTS sound, and I've already tried unplugging it. Is this something a regular person like me can fix, or should I give up?

It sounds like your remote's power button might be stuck! You can test this by removing the batteries from the remote and unplugging the TV for a couple of minutes. After that, plug it back in and use the button on the TV itself to turn it on. If the problem continues, it’s likely the remote isn’t the issue.
Great tip! I’ve had something similar happen with a Shark air purifier turning off randomly, and it turned out to be my soundbar remote interfering. So check for any other remotes or devices that might be on the same frequency!
