Why is my USB readable on my laptop but not on my TV?

I've got three SanDisk 64GB USB drives, all formatted to exFAT. One of them works perfectly on both my laptop and TV, but the other two are only recognized by my laptop. Any idea why just one is compatible with my TV?

If you're not using the full capacity of your USB drives, you might want to try reformatting the ones that aren't being recognized by the TV to a smaller size, like 32GB. Sometimes, TVs have trouble reading larger drives or specific storage configurations.

Really? Does making the storage size smaller actually have that big of an impact?
