Why is My WiFi Connected but No Internet Access?

I'm having trouble with my computer connecting to my WiFi network. While it shows that I'm connected, I can't access the internet at all. I've attempted a few troubleshooting steps like resetting network settings through the command prompt and uninstalling the network driver, not to mention checking for any available updates, but nothing seems to work. By the way, I don't use a VPN. Any advice would be appreciated!

Another thing to check is your router settings. You can log into the modem/router interface through your web browser and see if it recognizes the connection to your ISP. Usually, you can find the IP address like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, depending on your device.

Have you checked if your internet connection is actually working? You might want to plug directly into the router to see if that helps.

If you're able to connect to your phone's hotspot without any issue, it definitely seems to be tied to your WiFi. Could you try rebooting your router and then reconnecting?

Have you considered trying a wired connection? Sometimes connecting directly via Ethernet can help diagnose the issue.
