I just built my first PC and I'm super excited about it, but I'm really struggling with the WiFi connection. The signal pretty much always shows one or two bars, and while I'm downloading something on Steam, the speed is fluctuating between 10 to 25 Mbps, which is really frustrating. I've read that physical obstructions can impact the signal, so I tried moving the PC out from my desk so it has more space, but it didn't help at all. I even checked with my phone to see if it was just a dead zone, but everything seems fine around there. I think my drivers are all up to date since I used the ASRock app to download everything I needed for my ASRock X870E Nova WiFi ATX Motherboard. However, I just noticed a triangle-shaped antenna in the product photo on Amazon, which I didn't install since the tutorial didn't mention it. Now I'm wondering if that's the missing piece to solving my WiFi woes? It's so frustrating to have this awesome high-end PC with such terrible internet.

That triangle piece is definitely the WiFi antenna, and you really should connect it. It’s essential for getting a good signal. Without it, your motherboard won't be able to pick up WiFi signals properly. Just screw that antenna in and see if your connection improves!
