I'm having a frustrating issue with my WiFi speed. When I'm close to the modem, I can get speeds of around 500-600 Mbps, but as soon as I step into my room, the speed drops drastically to just 1-5 Mbps, or even lower. I'm wondering if there are any tips to improve my WiFi speed in my bedroom. Should I consider investing in a mesh network or getting a new router?

You might want to try running an RJ45 cable to an access point in your room. This will give you a direct connection, which is usually much faster than WiFi.
Check for any potential interference from walls or other devices. Also, readjusting your WiFi antenna might help, or consider using a WiFi repeater to boost the signal in your room.
I’ve already tried adjusting the antenna and moving it around, but it didn’t make a difference.
Could you explain how that works? I'm not really tech-savvy!
