Why Is Only 8GB of My 16GB RAM Usable?

Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with my RAM, and I need some help. I have two 8GB sticks of RAM installed (one is 3200 MHz and the other is 3600 MHz), and while my BIOS recognizes the full 16GB, Windows 10/11 shows only 8GB usable, with the other 8GB marked as 'Hardware Reserved'. When I boot into Linux, it only detects 8GB in total. It seems like half of my RAM is just sitting there unused—any ideas on what's going wrong?

Do you have a dedicated graphics card or are you relying on integrated graphics? If you're using integrated graphics, some RAM might be reserved for it to function as video memory.
