Why Is Only Half of My 32GB Memory Being Used?

I'm having an issue where my computer has 32GB of memory, but it shows only 16GB being utilized. For instance, in the Task Manager, cs2.exe shows it's using about 2,800 MB of memory, which translates to around 19.4% of my total usage. Shouldn't it be closer to 10% or less? The performance tab confirms I have 31.9 GB available. How can I solve this and make sure all my memory is accessible?

Applications only use as much RAM as they need at any given time. If you’re not facing any significant performance slowdowns, it may not be an issue. Windows allocates RAM dynamically, and some programs, even if they can use more, might not require it right away. But if you are seeing that occasional 99% usage, there could be a deeper problem with how RAM is being used across your applications.

It sounds like you're dealing with a memory allocation issue. Have you checked if there's a memory limit set on CS2 (Counter-Strike 2)? Sometimes games have these limits that restrict RAM usage. If you don’t have a limit, it’s likely that Windows is just managing resources based on what's actively needed.
