Why is Parsec Using Less Upload Speed Than Expected?

I'm having issues with Parsec, the app I'm hosting for gaming. While I have a solid 40 Mbps upload speed (verified through Google speed tests), Parsec seems to only be utilizing about 8 Mbps. I've set the app to use the maximum bandwidth, yet it doesn't reflect that in the task manager. The client I'm hosting for is experiencing lag, and I suspect it's due to not providing enough upload bandwidth. Could there be something limiting Parsec's upload capacity? I'm curious as to why speed tests show my full bandwidth while Parsec doesn't, and I'm using an ethernet cable for connection. Any advice on how to allow the app to utilize more bandwidth?

Just because an app can use more bandwidth doesn't always mean it needs to. Things like screen resolution and frame rate can affect how much data is actually transmitted. In situations where you're experiencing lag, increasing resolution or FPS might not directly result in increased bandwidth usage, but those factors do play into performance. It's possible to lag even if you're not maxing out your upload speed.

So you're saying I should adjust the settings to try and increase resolution or FPS? It seems like a laggy session can still happen without fully hitting the bandwidth ceiling.
