Why is the App Store not connecting on my home Wi-Fi but works elsewhere?

Hey everyone! I've recently run into a weird issue with my App Store. It's not connecting when I'm on my home Wi-Fi, but it works just fine on mobile data and other Wi-Fi networks, including my dad's mobile hotspot. Here's what I've figured out so far: Safari and other apps are functioning well on Wi-Fi, and it's not just my iPhone — my MacBook can't connect to the App Store on the same Wi-Fi either. However, my dad's iPhone works perfectly on my home Wi-Fi. This problem started happening right after I downloaded a game called Crossy Road on my MacBook. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

It sounds like you're dealing with a network issue specific to your setup. You might want to try power cycling your router or even resetting it completely. Sometimes, just reconfiguring the router settings can solve these types of problems. Any luck trying that?

Already tried all that, no luck.

Check if your devices have cellular assist turned on. It's possible that your Wi-Fi is acting up, but your phone may still be using cellular data for other apps. Honestly, if you haven’t been cut off from paying internet bills, that could be what's causing the problem.

That’s not the case! Since my dad’s devices work fine on this Wi-Fi, something must be up with my Apple ID.

You mentioned testing Wi-Fi at the gym, so it looks like it’s related to your home network. Since your dad's devices are fine, double-check your router settings or consider contacting your ISP. It might be a firewall issue with your specific Apple ID.
