I recently noticed a red light on the power indicator of my TUF 5070 Ti, which stays lit even when my PC is powered on. Despite this, everything seems to be functioning perfectly—I can play games at high settings without any issues, and booting up goes smoothly with no problems on my monitors. Initially, I thought the 850w power supply might be insufficient, so I upgraded to a 1000w PSU. I'm using the 12v-2x6 cable that came with the power supply, and I also tried out the included 2x6 to 3 PCIe adapter from the GPU, but the red light is still there. Here's my build for reference:
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
* CPU Cooler: Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme 89.73 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
* Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
* Memory: G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
* Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
* Video Card: Asus TUF GAMING OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB Video Card
* Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB ATX Mid Tower Case
* Power Supply: MSI MAG A1000GL PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Am I safe to keep using it as is, or could this be a sign of a faulty GPU?

Have you checked the user manual? If everything is running fine, I'd say it might not be a big deal after all. Sometimes, those indicators can be a little misleading. Just make sure it’s not actually affecting performance!
