Why isn’t Endeavor recognizing my hard drive partitions during installation?

I'm trying to set up a dual boot on my single hard drive. I've created 150GB of unallocated space for Endeavor, but when I run the installer and select my hard drive, it shows up as being in ataraid mode. Because of this, I can't see any partitions or how much space is actually being used. What should I do?

It sounds like your SATA controller settings might be causing the issue. Check your BIOS settings — it’s usually set to RAID by default. You might want to change it to AHCI. Just a heads up though, if you have Windows installed, changing this could prevent Windows from booting correctly, so make sure to back up your data first!

Is this something I can change on a laptop? I can't find that setting in my BIOS, but it does say RAID is off.
