Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC and installed Linux Mint on it. However, for some reason, the system is only recognizing the integrated graphics from my CPU instead of my new 9060XT GPU. I've been unable to adjust any monitor settings as well. I'm using kernel version 6.8, which I suspect might be the issue, but I can't find an option to update to 6.14, only up to version 6.11. How can I resolve this problem?

Honestly, my suggestion would be to switch to Fedora Cinnamon. It has a similar interface to Mint, so you shouldn't feel lost, but it's more up-to-date and better supports hardware like yours. One thing to note, though, is that you'll need to get used to DNF instead of apt for installing packages. The Fedora community is really helpful, and you might find it easier to handle newer hardware on Fedora than trying to make Mint work right with it.
To fix your GPU recognition issue, you'll want to add the kisak mesa PPA to get a newer version of mesa (25 or higher), and also consider using the mainline kernel PPA for newer kernel versions. Just remember to run a snapshot with Timeshift first since things can sometimes go wrong.
