I recently took over an Azure hybrid network, and everything seems to be working well. However, I've encountered an issue: when I reset a password on the Active Directory server and check the option to "Prompt User to Change Password," it's not prompting the user. What's going on?

It sounds like the prompt might not trigger if the user is only accessing cloud resources. Have you considered deploying Entra SSPR? That could streamline password management.
I haven't set that up yet because I still need Active Directory for other services, and I want to avoid any complications. The previous admin seemed to handle it well. Do you know if Azure can write back to the domain controller?
