Why Isn’t My Built-in Wi-Fi Showing Up on My Gigabyte Motherboard?

I'm having trouble with my Gigabyte Eagle x870 Wi-Fi motherboard. When I try to use Wi-Fi without connecting via Ethernet, I only see a Bluetooth option—no Wi-Fi options appear. The motherboard came with an I/O port adapter that connects to the back, but that hasn't helped either. In my Device Manager, the only thing listed under network adapters is the 'Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller.' I'm not sure if that's the right thing. I also downloaded the Realtek LAN driver from Gigabyte's website. Is there something minor I'm missing to get the Wi-Fi working?

Have you checked if the Wi-Fi drivers are installed? Sometimes, the LAN driver isn't the same as the Wi-Fi driver. You may need to look specifically for Wi-Fi drivers on the Gigabyte site, not just LAN drivers. They can be listed separately depending on the motherboard.

I didn't see anything labeled 'Wi-Fi' on their site. Could you point me in the right direction?
