I'm facing an issue with my PC after upgrading from a Ryzen 1600 to a Ryzen 5600X. Here are my specs: Ryzen 1600, RX 6600 XT, and 32GB (16+16) of Kingston DDR4 3200 RAM. My motherboard is an A320M Pro-E, which has only two slots. After the CPU upgrade, my PC wouldn't start and gave me three long beeps along with two lights on the motherboard indicating a problem with the DRAM and CPU. I managed to get it running again by removing the RAM stick from the A2 slot, but now I can only operate with one stick in the A1 slot. The dual channel setup and A2 slot are both non-functional now, even though they worked fine before with the Ryzen 1600. I'm wondering if switching to a B450 or B550 motherboard would fix this dual channel issue. Just to clarify, both RAM sticks are compatible and have the same timings and frequency, and I've turned off the XMP profile, plus updated the BIOS to the latest version.

Have you checked if your motherboard BIOS is fully updated? Sometimes, issues like this can be fixed with the latest updates.
It sounds like you might be mixing kits, which can lead to problems even if they look identical. Are you sure you're only using one kit of two sticks?
Yes, I have one kit consisting of two 16GB sticks.
You might want to re-seat your CPU. Sometimes, bent pins can cause these kinds of memory issues, so it’s worth checking while you have it out.
I checked the pins and they’re all okay. I even did a hard reset by pulling out the CMOS battery for 10 minutes, but that didn’t help.
Yes, I had to update the BIOS to even boot with the Ryzen 5600X on this older motherboard.
