I'm having trouble with my Razer Blackshark Hyperspeed X headset's microphone on my Windows 11 PC. No applications are able to access the mic even though I've enabled all the necessary settings. It seems like the headset is requesting permission to work, but nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know how to fix it?

It sounds like your mic might not be set up correctly in Windows. Check the sound settings by right-clicking the sound icon in the taskbar, choose 'Sounds,' and go to the 'Recording' tab. Make sure your mic is set as the default device. If it’s already set, try uninstalling any headset software, then reinstall it to see if that helps. Sometimes the drivers can conflict with Windows.
What do you mean by 'doesn't work'? Are you not getting any sound at all, or is it showing a blocked status? If it's unresponsive, you might need to double-check the permissions for apps in your privacy settings. Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure the apps you want to use have permission to access the mic.
I checked that, and they all have permission. The apps ask to use the mic, but then they don’t respond. It’s really frustrating!
Good call on checking the settings! Also, make sure to look for any updates for your headset software or Windows that might address compatibility issues.
