Why Isn’t My Intel Arc GPU Being Detected?

I recently upgraded my work PC with an Intel Arc B570 after using the integrated Radeon graphics for a while, particularly for running Fusion 360. However, I'm having major issues getting the new GPU to work. I can't even get it to output to a display or show up in the BIOS.

Here are my specs:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX
- 16GB DDR4 RAM
- 1TB NVMe SSD
- Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600W PSU

I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps: removing the card and cleaning the PCI-E slot, resetting the CMOS, disabling CSM, enabling secure boot, yet nothing has worked. The BIOS shows "N/A" for the PCI-E slot status. The system boots fine using the integrated graphics without the GPU, and I can see that the lights and fans on the card are operational. I'm at a loss here—did I overlook something?

Make sure you've connected the power cable from your PSU to the GPU! Sometimes cards require additional power to function properly.

Have you checked if your BIOS is up to date? That can make a big difference in hardware compatibility.

I’ve heard that this is a common issue with Intel GPUs. It's worth looking into if anyone has similar experiences.

It sounds like your BIOS doesn’t even recognize the GPU, so the OS won’t see it either to install drivers. Just getting the BIOS to see it might be the first step!
