Why Isn’t My iPhone Ringing for Incoming Calls?

I'm having a weird issue where my iPhone 15 Pro Max doesn't ring for any incoming calls or messages, including from Facebook Messenger. Instead, all calls go directly to voicemail, even though the numbers aren't blocked and I don't have Do Not Disturb activated. I'm kind of puzzled here! I recently switched to a better phone plan with Verizon, but this problem started. Any idea what might be causing this?

This might seem silly, but could you check if your volume is turned all the way down? Also, do you hear audio for anything else? The fact that it sends calls to voicemail suggests a possible issue on Verizon's side.

Yeah, I checked all that, and the volume was fine! I contacted Verizon, and they did some sort of network sync that ended up fixing the issue. Not sure about the details, but I'm relieved it's sorted now!

When did this issue start for you? If it began right after you switched plans, it’s possible that the plan change might have something to do with it.

It sounds super frustrating, but I think the best move would be to contact Verizon. It could be a network issue rather than a problem with your iPhone itself. If you don’t have any signal, that could also be the culprit.
