Why Isn’t My New 5070 Ti Giving Me a Better FPS Boost?

I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 3070 Ti 8GB to a 5070 Ti 16GB, but I'm really disappointed because I've only noticed an increase from 150 FPS to 160 FPS while playing Warzone. I'm using the same settings on my Ryzen 7 5800X and gaming at 1440p. Why is this upgrade not making a bigger difference? Any insights would be appreciated!

Have you checked if your settings are still the same after the upgrade? It's worth confirming, though I assume they are. Sometimes, changes can be unnoticed until you double-check everything.

Yes, I made sure to keep everything on the lowest settings.

It sounds like a classic CPU bottleneck situation. While your Ryzen 7 5800X is good, Warzone is really CPU-heavy. Your new 5070 Ti likely isn’t getting to show its full potential because it’s waiting for your CPU to keep up, especially at 1440p. Consider looking into an X3D chip for a noticeable performance boost, like the 5700X3D or 5800X3D; they handle FPS shooters much better.
