I recently built my first PC, but I'm having trouble getting any display output when I connect it to my TV. I've tried several troubleshooting steps including using BIOS Flashback, removing the CMOS battery, and testing with just one stick of RAM. The only thing lit up is the Boot Q-Led since I don't have an operating system installed yet, and I'm feeling a bit stuck.
Here are my specs:
- Ryzen 5 7600X (with Radeon Graphics)
- ASUS Tuf B650-E WiFi
- Acer Predator Vesta II (DDR5 with RGB)
- BeQuiet! System Power 11
- M.2 SSD 256GB
- Currently no graphics card, but I plan on buying one soon.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Update: I just switched to using the DisplayPort, and I saw a warning saying "your CPU has been changed," and now the HDMI is working too!

It sounds like you had a lucky break with the DisplayPort switch! Just to be thorough, make sure you're using the right input on your TV for HDMI. Sometimes it's easy to overlook that. Also, double-check that your RAM is seated properly.
Glad to hear the HDMI started working after using DisplayPort! The BIOS warning usually just indicates the system recognized a new CPU. Just keep an eye out for any more issues, and don't hesitate to reach out if anything else comes up.
Thanks for the reassurance! I’ll keep monitoring it as I set everything up.
That's a good point! It's always worth confirming the TV input is correct, as it can definitely cause confusion.
