Why isn’t my RAM fitting into my motherboard?

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of building my first PC, but I've run into an issue. I have Klevv Fit V RAM, and it's just not fitting into my ASRock B650M-HDV-M.2 motherboard, even though everything is DDR5. I've tried pushing the RAM in as much as I can without wanting to damage anything, but it still doesn't fit. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to resolve this?

First thing to check is if the latches on the RAM slots are open. You also want to make sure the notch on the RAM stick aligns perfectly with the slot. If it does but the stick still doesn't click in, give it a firm push while keeping the notch lined up.

Yes, I made sure both the latch and notch were aligned. But even when it's pressed in fully, the latch doesn't fully close.
