I recently upgraded my CPU, and while I got most things sorted out, I also installed a new SSD for better performance. The transfer of my Windows files from the original hard drive was smooth, but now I have a second hard drive (2TB) for storing games and video projects, and my PC can't recognize it at all. Neither can the BIOS. Has anyone faced this issue and can offer some solutions?

If your new drive is M.2, you might want to check your SATA connections. Some motherboards disable certain SATA ports when an M.2 drive is installed, so try moving the HDD to a different SATA port. Also, make sure to check the storage configuration screen in BIOS, not just the boot order screen, to see if it recognizes the drive.
If that doesn’t work, it could be a formatting issue or a faulty drive. Check the BIOS again after switching ports and make sure it shows up there. If it’s still not working, you might need to investigate if the hard drive is functioning properly.
