Why isn’t my second RAM module showing up in CPU-Z?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a bit of a RAM issue and could really use your insights. My laptop's showing 16 GB of RAM in the BIOS and Task Manager, but when I check CPU-Z, it only lists one 8GB stick. I suspect it's a problem with detecting the soldered RAM because Asus support claims there's an Apacer stick in there, but I'm not even sure what to believe. This model originally came with an 8GB soldered stick and had a 4GB module that I've replaced with another 8GB stick. CPU-Z and RAMMon seem to struggle with detecting the soldered RAM. Do you think it's possible that the soldered RAM isn't showing up in these programs? Also, I'm curious if the RAM could be running in Flex Mode due to mixed specs between the sticks. Oh, and fun fact: Asus support told me the Apacer RAM is priced at over $70, but they couldn't tell me anything useful about my actual module. So, any thoughts on my situation?

It sounds like it's working fine aside from the CPU-Z issue. Since your system recognizes 16 GB, just try using it normally and see if you encounter any problems. But I get why you’re worried about the detection issue—it’s always a bit unsettling when things don’t show up as they should.

Yeah, I ran a memory diagnostic when I first installed the new RAM and got zero errors, but the CPU-Z info is still making me uneasy.
