Why Isn’t My Taskbar Responding?

I've been having issues with the action center on my taskbar not responding for a couple of months now. Normally, I just restart my computer and it starts working again, but this time it's not responding even after a restart. I can't connect to the internet, which makes it really tough to do anything on my PC. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I have an HP EliteBook with a Core i7 vPro processor.

You might want to check out the Task Manager. Find 'explorer' in the list since that's responsible for your desktop. If it's not running, you can restart it by right-clicking on it. That often resolves the taskbar problems in a snap!

I'd suggest trying to restart Windows Explorer through Task Manager. It's a common fix for taskbar issues. If that doesn't help, you could run 'sfc /scannow' in the Command Prompt as an admin. Another tip is to toggle your network adapter. If everything still fails, creating a new user profile could surprisingly solve the problem too!

Restarting Windows Explorer did the trick! Thanks a ton!
