Why isn’t “Restore after AC Power Loss” working on my MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI?

I'm trying to use the "Restore after AC Power Loss" feature on my MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard to remotely turn my PC on and off using a smart plug. I set it to "Power on," but it doesn't seem to work after I unplug and replug the power supply. I also simulated a power loss by unplugging it while the PC was running, but plugging it back in after a couple of minutes didn't turn it on either. Am I missing something?

It sounds like the power loss feature usually requires only a brief loss of power to work correctly. If you unplugged it for too long, that might be the problem. Have you checked if you're following the right timing for restoring power? Like, does it have to be off for just a couple of seconds?

I followed a YouTube tutorial that showed how to do this with the same motherboard. The presenter claimed it works, so I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing in the setup.
