I'm trying to set up a dual boot on a single hard drive and created 150GB of unallocated space for Endeavor. However, when I start the installer and select my hard drive, it shows the file system as 'ataraid' and doesn't display any partitions or the amount of used space. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

It sounds like your BIOS settings might be causing the issue. Check if your SATA controller is set to RAID, because it needs to be set to AHCI for Endeavor to see the partitions correctly. Just be careful, as changing this setting could prevent Windows from booting unless you back it up first and reinstall.
You might need to delete any existing partition data in Windows before you proceed. The partition tools available in Linux, like GParted, may not function properly in the Endeavor installer. Just ensure you've backed up any important data first.
Are you using an Ethernet cable during installation? It can help with connectivity issues. Also, make sure to remove the boot media when you're finished! It can be easy to overlook.

I have a laptop and I don't see that option in my BIOS, but it does show RAID is off. Could that still be the issue?
