Hey everyone! I'm having trouble playing burned DVDs on my Coby TV-DVD1260 mini TV. I've been using DVD-Rs, but all I get is a "Wrong Disc" message when I try to play them. I have some old DVDs like my Cowboy Bebop DVD that work fine, but I'm confused about what makes them different from the DVDs I'm burning. Should I be using different blank DVDs, or is it an issue with the VOB/MP4 files I'm putting on them?

Just to clarify, did you burn the video files directly to the DVD? Most players require DVDs to be formatted with proper DVD authoring software. If you just burned files directly, that’s probably why it's not working!
It sounds like you're trying to play files directly instead of creating a proper DVD format. You can't just drag and drop video files onto a DVD; they need to be arranged and formatted correctly using DVD authoring software. Look into options like DVD Flick or other DVD authoring programs to create a playable disc structure.
Not all DVD players are compatible with burned DVD-R/+R discs. It’s worth checking the specs of your player to see what types it supports. If it has a restriction, you might need to explore other alternatives to play your media on the TV.
Got it! Is there any other way to play my own content on the TV?

I'm definitely going to try this with DVD Flick! I’m still learning about DVD stuff, so thanks for the tip!
