What’s the best way to transport my PC safely?

I'm about to build my first PC, but I'm really concerned about moving it without causing any damage. I relocate quite often, roughly once a week, and I'll be transporting the PC in my car. Are there specific products or methods I can use to safeguard it during transit? Additionally, I'm planning on using a Corsair 4000D case, so any advice related to that would be appreciated. Should I consider a gaming laptop instead? Thanks for your help!

You should think about a mini-ITX or mATX case with a handle. They are easier to carry. Using a sealed case without glass can help protect your components as well. If you go with a larger case, investing in packing foam or a dedicated transport bag will make a difference.

For safe transport, always remove the GPU before moving your PC. Lay the case on its back to keep everything stable, and if you're moving a lot, consider getting a smaller form factor build or a case designed for portability. A carrying case with proper padding might also be a good investment.

If you're relocating frequently, getting a compact SFF case with good component bracing is ideal, or just go with a laptop. It saves you a lot of hassle and risk!

If you're moving your PC that frequently, you might want to consider switching to a gaming laptop. Constantly removing and reinstalling the GPU can be a hassle, and it could lead to wear on the PCIe slots. A laptop would definitely be more convenient and less risky in the long run.

I've transported my PC several times just fine by wrapping it in bubble wrap and securing it in the trunk. Make sure it's on its back with the GPU secured to minimize movement. Just be careful over bumps!
