Why Won’t My Linux Boot After a Few Days?

I've been using Linux for a few months now, starting with Ubuntu, but it suddenly stopped booting one day. I switched to Linux Mint, thinking it would solve the issue, but it also stopped booting after a few days. The system works fine initially but then just won't boot. I'm really frustrated and can't find any helpful resources online. What do you all think could be causing this?

Are you dual-booting with Windows, or is it just Linux? And is your Linux installed on an SSD or a hard drive? If it's a hard drive, how long have you had it? Also, if you can, it would help to see a screenshot of the error messages when booting. You mentioned you got an "invalid environment block" error that sent you to BusyBox, which suggests there might be an underlying filesystem issue.

I’m only using Linux, and it was installed on an SSD. I managed to fix the issue after booting from a USB and binding some stuff. I still don't fully understand what went wrong, so I'm open to any tips!

It could be that you're dealing with bad RAM or a failing disk that's causing filesystem corruption. That might explain why your system works for a few days and then suddenly fails to boot.

Since both Ubuntu and Mint are Debian-based, you might want to try a different distro like Manjaro or Fedora. Those are not based on Debian and could help you troubleshoot the issue. I've heard that sometimes graphics driver problems, especially with Nvidia, can cause boot issues, but I'm not entirely sure if that's what's happening here.
