Why won’t my new GPU display anything on my monitor?

I just got my HP Z4G4 and installed a new GPU (TRX4000). I connected it using a Display to HDMI cable, but my monitor only shows 'searching for signal.' The GPU's fan is running, and everything is connected correctly. The only time I saw something on the screen was a brief flicker of the BIOS that disappeared shortly after. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

The Display to HDMI adapter can sometimes cause issues too. If you have a different monitor to test with, that could help narrow down the problem. And just a tip: make sure your cables are all seated properly!

It sounds like you might need to check if you're plugged into the GPU itself rather than the motherboard. Also, if you have another HDMI cable, give that a try too. Sometimes cables can cause issues. Have you tried connecting your monitor to the motherboard’s HDMI port? It might help you see if the system is booting properly.
