I just got my hands on an AMD Radeon 9060XT 16GB graphics card. After uninstalling my old GPU settings using DDU (I had a 2060 Super), I installed the new card. However, when I tried to power up my PC, I only saw a white VGA light and the GPU fans weren't spinning at all. Interestingly, when I moved the GPU to the second PCIe slot, it worked perfectly. I'd love any advice or solutions you might have!
- I've made sure to download the latest drivers.
- I set the PCIe slot to Gen 3.
- I've reseated the GPU multiple times.
- I confirmed that the PSU cables are correct and properly connected.

Double-check that the cable with the 2+6 split end is connected to the GPU properly and that all connections are tight. It's easy to miss something there.
Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Sometimes resetting it can resolve odd issues like this one.
Are you suggesting I should remove the battery for about 5 minutes?
What motherboard and CPU are you using? Sometimes compatibility can be an issue.
I'm on an ASUS ROG B550 Strix motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 5 5700 processor.

I went over the connections again and they seem solid, especially since the GPU runs fine in the second slot.
