Why Won’t My New PC Build Post?

Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC but I'm having trouble getting it to post. Here's what I've got:

- Motherboard: ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WI-FI
- Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 9600X
- RAM: G.SKILL 16G 1X D5 6000 C36 FX B

I've tried a bunch of things without any luck:
- Swapping out the CPU
- Changing the motherboard
- Testing different RAM slots
- Replacing the PSU
- Updating the BIOS to the latest version

The PC powers on and my monitor recognizes both DisplayPort and HDMI, but there's no POST, and I don't see any status LEDs or hear any beeps, which makes troubleshooting harder. I'm at a loss and wondered if there's something simple I might have overlooked. I've built PCs before but I'm really stumped this time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It’s odd that your board doesn’t have any boot LEDs. Most boards highlight CPU, RAM, VGA, and boot status. Are you sure it’s not just a manual oversight?

If you’re using a single DIMM, putting it in the right slot is crucial. Don’t forget to give the RAM training some time, especially if your kit doesn't have an EXPO profile. If you've tried all these and still no luck, maybe it's a deeper hardware issue.

Have you waited a bit for it to post? Sometimes AMD systems can take a while to train the RAM before booting up.

Also, double-check that you're using the correct RAM slot. If you have only one DIMM, it should go in the second slot. Otherwise, try using the second and fourth slots if you have two sticks.
