I just finished building my new PC, but I'm running into an issue where it won't power on at all. When I press the power button on the front panel, I hear a ticking or clicking sound coming from the PSU, but nothing happens after that. Here are my specs: CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, cooler is a Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240 Atmos AIO, the motherboard is an ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WiFi, GPU is a Gigabyte RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12G, and the PSU is a Corsair SF1000L (SFX-L). I'm using an NZXT H5 Flow case. One thing to note is that I had to buy extenders for the PSU cables since I didn't realize the 1000L is small form factor. Could this be causing the problem? Thanks for any help!

I've had similar issues with my son's build before, especially with the power button connector. Sometimes it gets loose and creates problems. If you're comfortable, you might want to double-check that connection—or even try to wire nut it temporarily if you suspect it's loose.
Yeah, cable extensions can definitely cause some issues. It's possible that the connections aren't snug or aligned correctly. You might want to try shorting the power pins directly on the motherboard to see if that makes it power on. It's a quick way to rule out the front panel connector as the culprit.
