Why Won’t My Newly Assembled PC Turn On?

Hey everyone! I just put together my first PC, and I'm having a major issue—it won't turn on at all when I hit the power button. The power supply is switched on ('I' position), but there's no response. Here's my setup:
- GPU: Rx7800xt
- CPU: 79700x
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B650-A Gaming Wi-Fi
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL
- Case: NZXT H6 Flow RGB
- Water Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro
- RAM: Corsair DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- SSD: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB

I initially thought it might be the front panel connectors since the case combines them into a single 'F panel' cable. I checked the NZXT website as well, and the connector should work for my motherboard's layout. I'm completely stumped right now because the PC shows no signs of life. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, and have a great day!

Make sure the power supply switch is definitely turned on. Also, double-check that all the front panel cables are securely connected. Is your CPU cooler attached correctly?

Yes, the power switch is on, and the 9-pin cable is connected as it should be. I think I've got everything hooked up right.

Have you checked if your RAM is fully seated? Also, take a moment to inspect the CPU pins; if any are bent, it could cause issues. It’s common to feel some resistance when securing the CPU, but it should go in smoothly for the most part. What’s your status on that?

I’ve checked the RAM several times, and I was careful with the CPU installation. I had to apply a bit of force to latch it, but that felt normal at the time.

You might want to try shorting the power switch leads (+ and -) directly on the motherboard. This can help figure out if the issue is with the front panel connection or if it’s a deeper problem. Did you give that a shot?

I just tried that, but nope, still nothing happens.

It sounds like you might want to double-check where the front panel connector is plugged into your motherboard. Your setup has more than the standard 9 pins for the F_PANEL, but make sure you matched it correctly to the left side of the header. Did you connect it there?

Yes, I plugged it in there, but still nothing happens.
