I've been using my custom-built PC for about three years without any major issues. However, over the last year, it started to occasionally fail to boot, showing a solid red light for the CPU and a yellow light for the DRAM. Typically, it would power up after a few restarts, but now it won't boot at all. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting: resetting the CMOS, cleaning and reseating the RAM and GPU, testing with one RAM stick in the correct slot, checking for bent pins on the CPU and motherboard, applying new thermal paste, and even replacing both the power supply and motherboard. Unfortunately, none of these solutions have worked. Could this problem be related to the CPU, or is there anything else I might try before considering a replacement? Here's my parts list for reference: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX motherboard (swapped for a Gigabyte B850M Eagle WIFI6E), AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU, Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 CPU cooler, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, and MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W power supply (swapped for Montech Century II 1050W).

Have you updated your BIOS at all during this time? Sometimes, that can fix compatibility issues or bugs that show up later on. If it's never been updated, that could definitely be worth checking.
It sounds like your CPU might be the culprit. You've done a solid job troubleshooting everything else, but intermittent issues like this often point to the processor wearing out or failing. Also, keep an eye on that warranty—you're running out of time to replace it if that's the case!
Yeah, definitely check that warranty! You might be able to get a replacement if you act fast.
Good point! I’ll need to prioritize figuring this out before it expires.

I didn’t think to update it. I guess I assumed it was automatically done. Might give that a try since I’ve ruled out the hardware issues.
