Why won’t my PC boot with all RAM sticks?

I've been using two sets of RAM sticks with different speeds (8x4 totaling 32GB) without issues for about three years, but recently I started having problems. While gaming, my games would crash and then I got the dreaded blue screen of death. Now, when I try to boot up, the display doesn't start at all. I tested each RAM stick in pairs and found that they all work individually in pairs and all slots are functioning. However, when I try to use all four sticks together, the PC won't boot. If I use any pair of sticks, it works fine.

Additionally, I've noticed that my C Drive sometimes spikes in usage to 100%. I've disabled and re-enabled indexing, which brought it down to a max of 78%, but I'm still confused about what's causing these issues. Is my power supply unit (PSU) failing, which might be preventing all four RAM sticks from working together? Or could my disk drive be failing, causing the drive utility to spike?

First off, have you checked for any crash dump files? Those are super helpful for understanding what's causing the blue screens. If you can boot into Windows or Safe Mode, check C:WindowsMinidump for crash logs. You can zip those files up and share them for a clearer diagnosis.

Also, the fact that your RAM sticks are different brands and speeds might be an issue. Mixing RAM can lead to instability, so using a single kit that is designed to work together is usually recommended. As for your SSD, if it’s a slower model, high disk usage can happen especially if it’s struggling to keep up with demand.
