I'm experiencing a strange problem with my dual-monitor setup. Whenever I try to boot my PC with both monitors connected, there's no display output, even though the PC powers on and the GPU lights up. The monitors just say 'No Signal.' However, if I unplug one monitor and start the PC with only the HDMI monitor connected, the system boots fine, and I can plug the second monitor back in afterward, and it works without issues. It feels like there might be a problem with either the GPU or the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter I'm using. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including changing BIOS settings, turning the monitors on before booting, and updating drivers, but nothing has fixed it. My GPU is a ROG RTX 3050, and the monitors are an MSI MP2412 and a Philips 22E1N1100LA.

You might want to double-check the refresh rates and settings on your monitors. If they're locked to a certain refresh rate, it could mess with how the system tries to initialize them during boot. And remember to configure your BIOS settings regarding the onboard video to ensure it doesn't conflict with your dedicated GPU.
It sounds like the passive DP to HDMI cable might be causing the issue. These cables generally work without needing drivers, but if they're not negotiating the signal correctly during the boot process, it could lead to no display. If your monitors support DisplayPort, I suggest using DP to DP cables instead, which might solve the problem. Also, check in BIOS if the integrated video is set up correctly, as sometimes that can interfere with booting too.
That makes sense! I just realized one of my monitors does have DisplayPort in, so I'll pick up DP to DP cables to test that. Thanks for the tip!

I've looked into the refresh rates, and they're flexible, but I didn't think about the BIOS settings. I’ll dig deeper into that, thanks!
