Why won’t my PC boot with two sticks of RAM?

I'm having trouble with my new PC build. I have a pair of DDR4-3600 16GB RAM sticks and an MSI Pro Z790-P WI-FI DDR4 motherboard. Both sticks work fine when used individually in the DIMMA2 slot, but whenever I try to boot up with both sticks installed in the DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 slots, I get a yellow light on the motherboard indicating a DRAM issue, and the screen stays blank. I've enabled XMP to increase the voltage from 1.2 to 1.35, but that hasn't resolved the issue either. Since this is my first build, I'm unsure of what steps to take next.

Have you tried using only the second slot (B2) for a single stick? Also, ensure your CPU cooler is securely tightened; overheating can cause issues. If none of this works, there might be a chance that the motherboard is defective.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS after swapping the RAM sticks? Also, did it boot with both sticks when you had XMP turned off? It sometimes helps to reset the settings when you face issues like this.
