Why won’t my PC display a picture even though the fans and lights turn on?

I've got a problem with my PC where the fans and lights turn on, but there's no display on the monitor. The VGA and BOOT lights are lit up, and I've tried unplugging the GPU and using the motherboard graphics, but I still can't get a picture. I'm using a GeForce RTX 3050 from iBUYPOWER. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

The BOOT LED being on is normal for a newly built PC, but since your VGA light is on, that suggests there's a problem with the graphics signal. Make sure your monitor is connected properly and check the cable for any issues. Also, if you can provide more info about your setup, that would help diagnose the problem better.

It's not a new PC, so I'm not sure why the lights are indicating issues like that. What other info would you need?

If this were a brand new setup, I would suggest giving it a few minutes for the first boot as it initializes everything, but since you mentioned it's not new, try reseating your RAM and checking the power connections to your GPU. Sometimes loose connections can cause display issues as well.

Thanks for the tips! I'll check the RAM and connections.
