I'm having trouble with my HP ZBook G417 (featuring an Nvidia Quadro P5000 GPU) not suspending properly when connected to my HP Thunder Dock 3. While I am able to manually trigger suspension, the system won't automatically suspend after 2 hours as it's supposed to. I suspect the Thunder Dock might be the culprit since I've encountered similar issues on Windows, although I can't recall how I resolved it back then. I'm running Linux Cinnamon Mint and ideally, I'd like to find a solution without resorting to scripting. Any ideas?

Have you tried disconnecting the dock to see if that resolves the issue? Sometimes, power settings might prevent suspension when connected to a dock or power supply.
