I'm having trouble with my dual monitor setup on Linux. When the screens go into power saving mode, only one of them turns back on when I try to wake them up. My PC seems to think both are still on, as I can see that I can configure them in Settings and move my mouse and windows to the monitor that's not waking up. The monitor with the issue is Display 1 (an ASUS model). I haven't installed much beyond the basic OS—just some software like Rclone, Chrome, Steam, and Plex. Do you have any ideas what might be going on? Here's my setup: Linux 6.14.0-29-generic, Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, using a Radeon R9 285 GPU. Display 1 is connected to a KVM switch via HDMI, and Display 2 is also to the KVM switch via HDMI.

Which monitor isn't waking up? Is it the ASUS or the HP one? It’s good to clarify since that could point to the issue.
It's the ASUS one. (And I thought I was so thorough.)
