I'm having trouble getting my terminal to open on Fedora 42. Whenever I try using CTRL + ALT + T, nothing happens. Even when I try to access it through console with CTRL + F2 and type "gnome-terminal", it doesn't seem to search for it. Can anyone help me out?

First, make sure that gnome-terminal is actually installed on your system. You can check this by accessing a different terminal or console and running the installation command. It's also a good idea to have multiple terminal emulators installed, just in case one messes up. Different versions of Fedora might be switching the default terminal emulator, so that's something to consider too.
If you’re still having trouble after checking for gnome-terminal, it might help to try reinstalling it or using another terminal application. It’s also worth noting that with Fedora 42, there might be changes that affect how the terminal behaves compared to previous versions.
