Wi-Fi Missing from My Windows Laptop: Any Fixes?

Hey there! I'm having a frustrating problem with my Windows laptop where the Wi-Fi seems to have completely vanished. I can't see the Wi-Fi icon anywhere, there are no available networks, and the wireless adapter isn't showing up in Device Manager. I've tried several troubleshooting steps like restarting the laptop, checking if Airplane mode is on or using the Fn keys, looking for disabled adapters in Device Manager, reinstalling network drivers, and resetting the Wi-Fi adapters, but nothing has worked so far. I'm wondering if this might be due to a corrupted Wi-Fi driver, a recent Windows update, or a hardware issue with the Wi-Fi card. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to solve it? I'm hoping to avoid doing a full reinstall of Windows if I can. Thanks!

One thing you could try is reseating the Wi-Fi card. If you’ve never opened your laptop before, it might seem daunting, but there are plenty of disassembly videos on YouTube that can guide you through it!
