Hey everyone! I have a bit of a newbie question about CPU compatibility. I'm building a gaming PC, and one of the main games I want to play requires at least a 12th gen i9 processor. I'm wondering if I can use a 13th gen i7 instead. Will my setup be compatible?

Not a dumb question at all! CPU compatibility can be confusing. Generally, a higher generation but lower model will still perform similarly, so you should be just fine. By the way, which game are you planning to play?
